Streamlight TLR-1 Weapon Light

If you want an affordable, quality tactical light, the folks at Streamlight offer it in their TLR series lights. If you want a cheap "hands-free" light option useful for clearing buildings, go with the TLR-1 weapon light for your Glock. The TLR-1 os also now available with a strobe option.

The TLR-2 is also available for those who need a light / laser combination. I found that simply having the light allowed me to stay on my front sight and I my accuracy during low light operations improved about 200%. The light is cheap, effective, and durable. For only $110 or so, it is an incedlibe alternative to the over priced Surefire alternatives.

Magpul Dynamics: The Art of the Dynamic Handgun

The newest training DVD set from Magpul Dynamics is out and shipping. The Art of the Dynamic Handgun looks to do for the handgun what The Art of the Tactical Carbine did for the AR-15 weapons system. You can expect top-notch production quality and excellent instruction.

This training set of dvd's builds on both the Volumes 1 and 2 of the Tactical Carbine, can be watched a dozen times, and you learn something new each time. The Magpul Dynamics DVDs and lots of dry practice will improve your weapons handling skills.

As a civilian and CCW holder, the handgun is realistically the weapon that most people will have on hand when bad guys appear, so this new training dvd set is a great addition to any collection. Consists of 4 DVDs, covering fundamentals, CCW, gear selection and more. Check out the trailer if you need any more convincing.
