Nordic Components Complete AR-22 Conversion Kit

Several years ago, Nordic Components came up with the idea of taking a Ruger 10/22 barreled action and wrapping it in a chassis that replicates the geometry of the AR-15 as closely as possible and accepts M4 stocks, grips and free float handguards.
This idea became the Nordic Components AR22 10/22 conversion kit. The motivation was to take a semi-automatic .22 LR platform that can be made reliable - the 10/22 - and turn it into a three-gun or tactical training platform. With the same stock to grip to receiver geometry and the ability to replicate a three-gun or tactical AR-15's setup, trigger time on the AR22 carries over to a real AR-15 shooting .223.

They are now producing a complete conversion kit which has everything that you will need to convert a Ruger 10/22 to an AR/22. It comes complete with Nordic Components Hand Guard, 6-Position Adjustable Butt Stock, Trigger Guard Gap Filler, and AR Hand Grip. All hardware is included to convert your Ruger 10/22 into an AR-style rifle. All items bolt on and should not require gun smith assistance.

Everything you need is included, one stop shopping is now possible.

IOR Valdada1x/4x32mm Pit Bull Tactical Rifle Scope

Over the past few years, IOR Valdada has continued to push the envelope of optical design. Their achievements include the first 6- and 7-fold magnification increase scopes, te innovative MP8 reticles and the wide 40mm tubes. For 2009, Valdada unveiled an innovative 1x/4x32mm tactical scope named the Pit Bull at the SHOT Show.

Unlike conventional variable-power designs, it does not zoom from 1x to 4x, and there is no magnification in between. However, while ELCAN's design doesn't resemble a conventional scope with its beefy base and external adjustments, IOR's newest design has a conventional look.

Built on a beefy 35mm main tube, this new optic is quite short at 7.2 inches. One of the features this scope has is the ability to switch quickly from 1x to 4x. When snapped onto 1x, it gives the shooter an incredibly wide (144 feet at 100 yards) field of view.

This new scopes FOV is huge! Kick it to 4x and the FOV is still 38 feet at 100 yards, compared to the S&B's 32 feet at 100 meters. Due to its design, it can be utilized like a red-dot sight when set on 1x with its reticle illuminated. Thanks to its enormous field of view, it should prove to be very quick on close or moving targets. Move to 4x and you have a magnified optic well able to identify or engage distant targets.
