Grip Pod

America's fighting men can only carry so much gear. Every ounce must serve a legitimate function. The now prevalent Grip Pod is not only useful, it is a trusted ally.
Created by Joe Moody and Joe Gaddin, the first all aluminum vertical foregrip / bipod prototypes were presented at a conference at Fort Benning in 2003. In 2005, the Grip Pod was chosen for its first contract.
The 7 ounce grip attaches to a Picatinny rail, tightens with a wing nut and features a spring loaded bipod extending and unfolding from the base at the push of a button. The newer versions have polymer legs with stainless steel inserts. They are entirely made and assembled in America. Genuine Grip Pods have non removeable wingnuts and the words "Grip Pod" molded into the sides.
